Stayed at the Panarama hotel in Prague for 2 nights in the Prague suberbs. It is a very modern high rise just on the edge of the city.
Spent the day touring and wandering the old town. The architecture is jaw- dropping. EVERYWHERE there were incredibly ornate and beautiful buildings.
Prague: The city of a Thousand Spires.
Prague was undamaged in WWII and its medieval center remains a wonderful mixture of cobbled lanes, walled courtyards, cathedrals and countless church spires all in the shadow of her majestic 9ty centruy castle. It is one of Europes most charming and beautiful cities.
The old city is best seen on foot... and that is what we did.
