The city of Budapest is really the twin cities of Pest on one side of the Danube and Buda on the other side.  Pest is the larger and contains the business district and Buda is the hilly side.  The cities are joined by 4 main bridges.

  Day 2 in Budapest

We had a free day today to explore Budapest.  We spent the morning at the market, then went across the green Freedom Bridge to check out the Gellert Spa.  We could have easily spent a week here.  ...next time we will explore more of the downtown area.  So much to see!
